The TheaterMania Theater Block!

TheaterMania.com & the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce join forces to present Broadway and Off-Broadway stars performing on stage, and an entire block of entertainment, featuring booths from over 25 of New York’s most prestigious theater companies, at annual free event to be attended by over one million people.

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce will once again dedicate an entire city block, between 73rd and 74th Streets on Third Avenue, to TheaterMania.com in order to celebrate New York City theater at the 32nd Annual Third Avenue Community Benefit Street Fair, to be held on Sunday, September 7th from 11am – 5:30 pm. TheaterMania, the leading online source for theater information and tickets nationwide, will present an extraordinary blend of performers from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway, Dance, Music, and Children’s and Interactive Theater on the fair’s stage between 12pm and 4pm.

Scheduled performers include Jim Caruso, host of Broadway at Birdland, the cast of the Off-Broadway hit Altar Boyz, Jenn Coella, Liz Larsen, Austin Miller, Cady Huffman, Literally Alive Children’s Theatre, Castronauts, The Marvelous Wonderettes, The Universes, The Broadway Boys, Opera On Tap, TADA Youth Theatre, and more….

Fun-filled attractions will include contests, interactive games, special offers and insider information about the latest happenings on the New York City theater scene.

Participants will include the Roundabout Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, The Hip-Hop Theatre Festival, The Vineyard Theatre, Blue Man Group, Signature Theatre Company, NY Philharmonic, NY Theatre Workshop, HERE Arts, New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), Opera on Tap, Broadway Unplugged, Awesome 80s Prom, P.S 122, Labyrinth Theatre, The New Group, Prospect Theater, Vital Theatre, New Victory Theatre, York Theatre, and Disney Theatricals.
