The Music of Karl Jenkins: A Concert For Peace

DCINY honors newly-knighted Welsh composer Sir Karl Jenkins with an evening comprised entirely of his compositions. The concert includes one of Jenkins’ earliest works, Songs of Sanctuary (for treble voices), as well as his enduringly popular The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace. The pieces will be performed by the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and Distinguished Concerts Singers International, led by DCINY Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Jonathan Griffith.
