The Lower East Side Film Festival

Now in its third year, The Lower East Side Film Festival is run by filmmakers for filmmakers to showcase independent work from all over the world. Hailed by NY Arts magazine as “an unexpectedly great film festival,” previous years featured work by such local cinematic talent as Steve Buscemi, Michael Almereyda, Bill Morrison, and Ilya Chaiken.
