About This Show
Welcome to the inaugural Lighthouse Series, presented by SoHo Playhouse. A competition, first of its kind, brought on to showcase the best new talent and writers across the New York City Area. Over two weeks in May, 20 shows will battle it out on our main stage. Four groups, four winners. Each night is built as an eclectic and diverse experience with themes and performances ranging from drama to comedy, and everything in between. Come to one, come to all—the audience decides who will prevail. This is something you simply don’t want to miss.
Beginning May 9th and ending May 21st…who will you choose?

Week One:
Group 1: May 9th, 11th, 13th
Shows: What I First Desired, In a Relative Way, Tuam, The Gospel of Efunroye, A Ladder to the Moon, and Gayby Girl
Group 2: May 10th, 12th, 14th
Shows: Sprawl, The Bear Tax or A Melting Glacier and Its Friend the Water, DOO INDÁYZ, Tinytanic, Aggressive Spillover, and Piece of Mind
Week Two:
Group 3: May 16th, 18th and 20th
Shows: Heartbreak County, Time Biter, Slings and Arrows, and I Did Something in Palestine
Group 4: May 17th, 19th, and 21st
Shows: What You Get, JOB, Bone to Pick, and Happy Roomy Sunny Keen
