About This Show

Throw together a handful of unknown actors and add a solid lineup of solid soul tunes — what do you get? A recipe for success employed by film director Alan Parker nearly ten years ago, as he pulled together the amazing hit, The Commitments. Based on the book by Roddy Doyle, The Commitments is a rock n roll romp from start to finish. What started as only an idea for a film has now proliferated to a touring musical extravaganza. Their stage show, which includes all the films best-loved songs, is an amazing adventure back into some of music’s greatest times.

The Commitments soundtrack albums 1 & 2 have sold approximately 12,000,000 copies. The movie has been seen by an estimated 1 billion people world-wide and they have played over than 1000 shows worldwide, performing live in front of more than 3,000,000 people.

Their live show features all the classic hits from the movie including: “Try A Little Tenderness,” “Mustang Sally,” “Chain Of Fools,” “Take Me To The River,” “In The Midnight Hour,” plus many more all time soul classics from Dublin’s saviours of soul.

Appropriate for all ages.
