New York City
Yup, she’s fat, bloated, due in February, and may need to take a pee break in the middle of her own act, but she’s singing! Susan and musical director, Christopher McGovern, will team up again for a raucous evening in NYC — performing all sorts of tunes to the amusement of the crowd … and to celebrate the release of their new CD, Winter Tracks. Susan Egan has traversed all four corners of the entertainment industry, making powerful impressions in theatre, film, television and music. On Broadway, Egan most recently starred in the title role of Thoroughly Modern Millie. She’s vividly portrayed ‘Sally Bowles’ in Cabaret longer than any actress in Broadway history, winning critical acclaim; she originated the starring roles in Triumph of Love and State Fair, and most notably, received both Tony Award® and Drama Desk® nominations for “Best Actress” as Broadway’s original ‘Belle’ in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
