Song of the Lodz Ghetto is a unique musical theatrical work that features rare Jewish street and folk music created in the Nazi ghetto of Lodz, Poland between 1941 and 1944. Combining the soulfulness of Yiddish tradition, the finesse of classical music, and the vitality of jazz, this work, is “nothing less than brilliant, a recreation that is not merely respectful but stunningly inventive” (Jewish Week).
