Sly Stone Birthday Tribute: Days of Wild

Any soul who’s shaked some booty at a Days of Wild jam surely knows this band throws down some serious hot n’ sweaty FONK! They are world-reknowned for their classic PRINCE tribute shows but equally skilled at covering the music of Sly & the Family Stone.

They’re not just about the music, they’re also all about spreading love. You will often see them inviting musicians to play and sing, as well as audience members to join in. Days Of Wild has become less of a band, but more of state of mind. If you go with an open mind, then you leave feeling like you are a member of the band, because they’re all about interaction and inclusion.

Last summer at BB King’s DAYS OF WILD celebrated Prince’s birthday with a massive three-hour jam session. They plan another all-out marathon funkfest to honor Sly’s soulful music. Simply put…SLY STONE is the ambassador of funk, soul + good-time music!
