New York City
Jim Caruso in association with TheaterMania.com presents “Hot Stars For Cold Nights,” bringing the top Broadway and jazz performers and songwriters into the legendary music room Monday nights at 7pm.
Acclaimed jazz singer Peter Eldridge joins the Birdland family. Perhaps best known for his appearances with New York Voices, the Grammy-award winning vocal group he co-founded in 1989, Peter has a strong following for his solo outings, too! Two solo recordings, “Fool No More” and “Stranger in Town,” have made the jazz charts all over the country. He also teaches at Manhattan School of Music, and one of his star pupils, Jane Monheit, recently featured him on her DVD, “Live at the Rainbow Room,” duetting on an original song penned by Eldridge.
