Out of the Wings is an impromptu open-mic night of good drinks, good folks, and some exceptionally written scenes from living playwrights. Anyone is welcome to participate! How's It Work? Step 1: Murmuration Theatre Co provides monologues + dialogues + trios from our pool of 1000+ new plays (script excerpts of 1-5 minutes each). Step 2: We pull names out of a bucket; our first performer(s) get 5 minutes of preparation time with a random scene. Step 3: We call out the reader or scene partners "on deck"... and repeat! *If you're not comfortable with any of the material in your given scene, you can request a swap! No explanation necessary.
