The Metro Chamber Orchestra begins it’s third season …On the lighter side… featuring the two time Grammy winner and cabaret stylist Sylvia McNair. Rex Reed described Ms. Mc Nair’s performances as “ecstasy.” Also featured on this special opening night performance are works by Ibert, featuring saxophonist Matthew Sintchak, Hickey, featuring soprano Jennifer Greene and tenor Douglas McCormick, and Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” featuring pianist, Peter Vinograde. Come join Ms. McNair and her trio and Maestro Nuzzo for a wonderful evening of song that will leave you tapping your feet and humming great tunes long after the night is over.
