Wooden is a dance installation that cycles through contrasting environments. Disjointed movements, rigorous physicality, and liquid circular compositions reference the mathematical precisions of nature’s geometry. Dancers occupy a desiccated landscape of hanging driftwood trees. The cycle progress, manipulating the viewers perspective, as the the quartet explodes across an expansive lawn. In the final stage, divergent environments collide, forming a distinctive landscape.
