William Shakespeare’s As You Like It

Using minimal to no set, costumes or props, our productions will be performed by a company of green-minded actors. Green Theatre Collective dedicates all performances of As You Like It to teachers across the country and our Brooklyn performances to Debbie Pressman and all NYC educators. As we honor our educators, we also advocate for the arts in education, and their rightful place in our schools. Featuring Original Music Composed by MELA, a folk band of original tunes that features an eclectic folky mix of flute, voices and hand drums.

Green Theatre Collective is one of the countries first eco theatre companies, and seeks to produce sustainable theatre in outdoor environments. By performing in outdoor spaces used by the community, we not only seek to entertain our audiences, but also help reacquaint them with their environment, and acknowledge the need to preserve and honor it.
