His prison days behind him, Italian-American Uncle Nicky leads a reformed, ritualistic life as a barkeep in a neighborhood joint in Queens. But when nephew Joey introduces his fianceé Leslie, a predatory woman from Maryland, it unleashes a torrent of sexual tensions, unrealized desires, and starkly revealed family skeletons.
