Ivan is very tall. V is on a strict cantaloupe diet. The two meet at a classified ads desk and embark on a journey that takes them from the treetops of a dark forest, to the klieg lights of the Miss America Pageant. In Peggy Stratford’s hilarious Three Miracles and a Giant, Faith, Freedom and Chance intersect as Ivan and V are forced to contend with a crew of Russian kidnappers, Ivan’s paranoid father and the possibility of new love.
Peggy Stafford has written for The Empty Space Theatre (Seattle), New Georges Theatre (NYC), The Playhouse (Northern Ireland), and The Seattle Repertory Theatre, among others. Her plays have been produced at HERE. (NYC), On the Boards (Seattle), Dixon Place (NYC), Bottom’s Dream (Los Angeles), and Annex Theatre (Seattle). Peggy is currently a member of the SoHo Rep’s Writer/Director Lab, and was a finalist this year for the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference.
