About This Show

If there’s one thing a hard working, honest family can’t stand it’s a show-off, and he’s just what they need. Aubrey Piper is both insufferable and irresistible as he elbows in on the Fisher family, but his bald-faced lies may just prove the value of a little creative optimism. Pulitzer Prize winner George Kelly’s 1924 comedy, The Show-Off, inspired a classic silent film with Louise Brooks, and a role inhabited by the likes of Spencer Tracey and Red Skelton. Directed by Yvonne Conybeare, the production stars Tod Mason in the title role.
