Who said there’s no such thing as a free lunch…or at least a free lunchtime concert? “Cool Music for Warm Summer Days” is the venue for Ron Gartner and his band for a swingin’ afternoon concert. Gartner, along with his band, led by arranger/keyboardist Bill Gulino, is heating up the center of New York City while folks are out and about during their lunch hour. A fabrics-to-show biz success story over the past three years, Gartner (a second-career singer) claims to be one of the few entertainers in the US who can effortlessly go from Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Perry Como and Sammy Davis Jr. to Bandstand, Broadway and James Brown in the same show!
