New York City
Target Margin Theater, the Obie Award-winning company renowned for its innovative adaptations of a wide-range of classics, presents the American premiere of Charles Peguy’s neglected 19th-century masterpiece The Mystery of the Charity of Joan of Arc.
Target Margin’s artistic director David Herskovits directs this rare revival–seen now in America for the first time in the play’s 100-year history–of Peguy’s work in which the young Joan of Arc reflects on a world ravaged by war, and where those in power seem to have lost their moral compass. What can she do? What can any of us do?
There is an additional performance on Tuesday, June 1 at 7:00pm.
