The Magical Forest of Baba Yaga

About the Show

Russian fairy tales come alive through magic, fun, theatricality and music in The Magical Forest of Baba Yaga, based on the beloved Russian character who lives in a log cabin that moves around on a pair of dancing chicken legs. In a world where children are turned into trees and impossible tasks are everyday chores, poor Lisa has to use all her inventiveness to find and free her lost children from the clutches of Baba Yaga. Aleksey Burago, director of the Urban Stages hit Ah, My Dear Andersen, directs this new version by Stanton Wood (The Snow Queen), with original music by Greg Adair (Circus Contraption) and Colm Clark (Urban Stages’ Ah, My Dear Andersen).
