About This Show

Holderness Theater Company presents The Life of Spiders.

The Life of Spiders, rich in its poetic language and imagery, follows the story of a man in Belle Époque Paris who weaves the finest and most sought after silk he milks from spiders. In order to woo the object of his desire, he makes a Faustian contract to coax more silk from the spiders, to weave fabric for the finest clothing to present to his mistress. Watch and witness the result of his pact as success, revenge, and desire unravel.
