Electric Pear Productions presents Synesthesia, an ambitious performance piece that takes an unforgettable look at how artists influence, inspire and steal from each other through the schoolyard game of ‘telephone’ … with art.

Synesthesia is the culmination of five months of work by over a dozen breakout artists in nine different genres – from film and dance to comedy and slam poetry. It traces the creative journey that started with a fortune cookie being handed to an author, who wrote a short story which was handed to a photographer, who took a series of photographs which were handed to a musician … and so on. The evening, held at the beautiful Harris Lieberman Gallery in SoHo, will be a series of live performances woven with a documentary highlighting each artist’s inspiration, development and final product.
