Saturn’s Wake

An original blend of magic realism, retold fairy-tales and vaudeville, Saturn’s Wake salutes the high as well as the low of the shining, seething Big Apple. Orphaned brothers Dana and Johnny trek through a mythical New York cityscape collecting an assortment of motley sidekicks along the way. Pursued by The Skatekids, a ferocious gang that travel through the City on bad-ass wheels, Dana and company adventure through a surreal New York, where they find boys hatched from bird’s eggs, wager on cockroach boxing, and visit strip clubs infested with fleas. Part After Hours, part Gangs of New York mixed with Buster Keaton zaniness, this show brings audiences through a magical, mythical and mysterious New York, both out of the past and into the future.
