Reverend Billy and the Macky Dees Gospel Choir turn their sights from the Disney Company to our Cancer in Earth Tones, Starbucks. The Theater District/Hell’s Kitchen area is, like so many New York neighborhoods, a landing area for the Mermaid with the Espresso Machine. The church sermon attacks the loss of neighborhood, owner-run coffee shops by this hugely popular caffeinated chain.
