About This Show

Porcelain Penelope Freak Show blends fact and fiction, vaudeville and spoken word. This updated version of Precious Chong’s solo show is inspired by her father’s (the comedian Tommy Chong) recent arrest and 9 month jail sentence under Ashcroft’s Operation Pipe Dream. Irreverant, sassy, and politically incorrect, Precious attempts to answer the eternally asked question “What’s it like to have Chong as a dad?”.

Directed by Michael Kearns with choreography by Kim Blank. Clinton Cameron
on drums.

The opening night performance includes the Women Center Stage opening reception, starting at 7pm, with the performance beginning at 9pm.

Opening Reception: July 11th, 7PM
