In this new show written and directed by Aya Ogawa, dreams and reality converge as the character in Shakespeare’s Hamlet inspires a haunting exploration of contemporary, international communities. Through three disparate stories of displacement, isolation and disconnection, this work exposes the cultural crises that pervade our global society. The work uses shadow puppetry, dance, original music and pop culture references that span international boundaries.
