About This Show

The Jewish Repertory Theatre presents the world premier of Alan Glass’ LOVE IN A THIRSTY LAND. The production traces a love story about a pious young Polish Jewish immigrant who ends up on trial for the 1875 murder of a beautiful young woman. The content is based on materials from an actual case found in the memoirs of Abraham Cahan, famed founder of the Daily Forward.
