Let There Be Light..!

About the Show

Let There Be Light..!, adapted from the 1946 John Huston documentary by Jen Ellison and Dave Stinton is a documentary for the stage that follows four young veterans, just after the Allied victories overseas, as they grapple with the debilitating symptoms of battle fatigue. Named the Best New Play of 2003 by NewCity Chicago and highly recommended by the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Reader during it’s world premiere in 2003, this is a most relevant piece of theater, especially considering today’s political climate in tandem with both the 60th anniversary of D-Day and the recent dedication of the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.

This performance is presented as part of the New York International Fringe Festival.
