About This Show

The Storm Theatre presents a production of renowned French playwright Jean Anouilh’s, Eurydice: Legend of Lovers. This modernization of the Orpheus and Eurydice legend, illustrates the ephemeral quality of love and happiness. Eurydice, an actress and Orpheus, a street musician, meet at a railway station and fall in love. They elope; spending a blissful night in a third rate hotel, but her past catches up with her. Orpheus then must choose between death and a retreat into illusions.
