Dinner At Grandma’s is an original play by Evern Gillard-Randolph that takes the audience back in time — circa the 60s and 70s — to Cross, South Carolina with a glimpse at the life of a grand lady, Grandma Grace. Uncle Willie evokes your pity. Grand daughter Ruth is off to the big city. The Quilt Sisters spin more than yarn. While Grandma chase chickens from the coop thru the barn kids playin church, but they should be sweeping Grandma back early, now the kids are all weeping. But there’s unspeakable joy — from a knock on the door could it be Bubba, returning from the Vietnam War.
