A triptych consisting of three short plays, Depth of Sight by Crystal Skillman, examines the complexities of how we perceive the unknown. The first play, Turn Four, portrays Dale Earnhardt’s fatal car crash at the Daytona 500 as perceived by the three leading drivers during the final twenty laps. The second play, Translation of Signs, explores the unreliability of how we perceive surfaces, symbols, signs and each other. The final play, In the Wild, is a mesmerizing portrayal of our perceptions of that which we are unable to control: fear, love, isolation, nature, and death.
