Chicken is plopped, squawking and clucking, into a world filled with the Unknown: office telecommunications systems, dildos, and Diet Coke. Chicken stubbornly and naively encounters the objects and challenges of daily life. Chance favors the prepared chicken in Laura Meyers’ latest work, presented as part of Dixon Place’s Performance Works in Progress series.
