The Times is the story of Liz and Ted, an actress and a writer living in New York City. Unfolding over 18 years, the bittersweet comedy charts their successes and setbacks and the effects these have on their marriage. An ensemble of six portrays their friends and colleagues. It also portrays the whole world beyond their marriage, a world of other peoples’ triumphs and tragedies that Liz and Ted see primarily through the filter of the New York Times.
