American Living Room Festival

HERE presents its 11th annual American Living Room Festival, featuring works by scores of emerging and established directors, performers, musicians, puppeteers and visual artists. Works include Evolving: A Contemporary Freak Show written and directed by Marcina Zaccaria, in which a Side Show ringmaster offers to transform a physically challenged girl into something extraordinary; Loop-the-Loop! directed by Jeffrey G. Baker, a ritual exploration of the human search for wholeness set in the urban gay world of the first half of the 20th century; God is a Potato directed by Michele Minnick, in which mad clowns meet the Sensation exhibit in a commedia-style romp through art and politics; and many more.
