About This Show

Blue Heron Theatre (Ardelle Striker, Producing Artistic Director) presents a limited run of a unique father-son staging of Charles Dickens? holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. After a century of remakes, the father and son team, both named Joe Plummer, are playing what they call ?The Dickens Version? of the familiar Carol ? faithful to the text Dickens himself used on his reading tours of America, and re-emphasizing the original intent of the Carol as a tale of redemption.

Blue Heron Theatre (founded in 1987) is a producing organization that defines its work as a thinking person?s theatre. It produces contemporary plays, classics and performance pieces that bear witness to the human values of thought, feeling and imagination. The company believes that through art, it can illuminate the world?s diversity.
