The Women of Lockerbie

Written in the form of a Greek tragedy with contemporary speech, The Women of Lockerbie follows parents from New Jersey who journey to the hills of Lockerbie, Scotland, where their only son lost his life aboard Pan Am Flight 103 seven years earlier. There, they meet the women of Lockerbie, who are on their own crusade for healing by salvaging the clothing of those who perished on that flight, which the U.S. government is holding and plans to destroy. Playwright Deborah Brevoort has based the piece on an actual project undertaken by the women of Lockerbie. Directed by Scott Elliot, the play stars Tony Award winner Judith Ivey, and also features Larry Pine, Jenny Sterlin, Will Arnett, Kathleen Doyle, Angela Pietropinto, and Kristen Sieh
