Jean Cocteau Repertory presents Beaumarchias’ The Marriage of Figaro in a new translation by Rod McLucas. This comedic romp champions the underdog and celebrates the triumph over the oppressor. Figaro, Count Almaviva’s irrepressible manservant, and Suzanne, the maid to the Count’s wife, are about to get married when it is discovered that the Count lusts after Suzanne. David Fuller directs.
