About This Show

This revival of Tennessee Williams’ lyrical play, Small Craft Warnings is presented by the Jean Cocteau Repertory. The play is a slice-of-life evocation of Monk’s Place, a seedy bar on the California coast where a group of lost souls regularly gathers for companionship and refuge from their workaday lives. The play originally premiered Off Broadway in 1972, with Williams appearing in the production in an effort to boost ticket sales. The current production marks the latest in a series of renowned Cocteau productions of Williams’ world premieres and revivals. Directed by former Producing Artistic Director Scott Shattuck.

Full-time students (with current ID) can purchase tickets for $20. Rush tickets (15 minutes before every performance) are priced at $15.
