The first great play of Aeschylus’ masterful Oresteia trilogy, The Agamemnon, receives a new production by the Aquila Theatre Company with Olympia Dukakis and Louis Zorich joining the company as Clytemnestra and Agamemnon.

Beginning at the end of the ten-year Trojan War and telling the story of Agamemnon’s return home, this powerful Greek tragedy tackles the timeless themes of justiice, revenge, retribution, gender roles, politics and power and features possibly the greatest female role in all of Greek Drama.
