About This Show

A New Play by Jennifer Skura
“Sometimes it’s just easier to walk away.”

OFF A BRIDGE, written by Jennifer Skura and directed by Greg Skura, is about William, a cross-dressing, queer man, who must travel through time to find his family, his friends, and even his younger self. As each day unfolds, William’s Sisyphean journey becomes clear: Can he change his life’s moments before his fateful turn?

OFF A BRIDGE is performed by Sean Meehan, Jason Blaine, Annalisa Loeffler, Rob Sheridan, Eli Gelb, Evan Daves; direction & light/sound design by Greg Skura; assistant director/narrator Mia Anderson.

As Dixon Place’s signature activity, Performance Works-In-Progress is one of their most successful ongoing programs. Presented several nights each month as schedule permits, this series focuses on new theatre, performance art, puppetry, dance, music and interdisciplinary collaborations from today’s most innovative artists. The goal of the series is to feature a diversity of disciplines and perspectives, and to encourage artistic risk-taking in a supportive, intimate and professional environment.
