Mortals and Angels: A Bluegrass Te Deum with Dailey & Vincent

Country and classical collide as DCINY presents the world premiere of Mortals & Angels: A Bluegrass Te Deum, by Carol Barnett and Marisha Chamberlain. Commissioned by the DCINY Premiere Project, the work fuses traditional bluegrass music within a classical structure, incorporating texts from ancient scripture and contemporary prayer. The performance will feature country music superstars Dailey & Vincent alongside the Distinguished Concerts Singers International and maestro Jonathan Griffith, for a groundbreaking evening of new music.
