About This Show

Moira Danis returns to Don’t Tell Mama with encore performances of Double Rainbow. The show explores and celebrates the impact of Latin American rhythms and cultural elements on 20th century composers and artists in the United States. Moira’s show highlights the Latin influences on popular music standards, Tin Pan Alley novelty songs and rarely performed, classically inspired serenades, from the songbooks of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Ernesto Lecuona, Maria Grever and others.

Moira is accompanied once again by jazz pianist Gregory Toroian and she is directed by Helen Baldassere.
