About the Show
Sacred and Profane The Metro Chamber Orchestra led by Artistic Director Philip Nuzzo will be joined by the Communion and Liberation Choir in Bach’s Cantata 29 “Wir Danken dir Gott wir Danken dir”. Dr.Jennifer Pasqual joins the orchestra for the beautiful organ concerto in F the “Romantic” by Josef Rheinberger. The program concludes with the final scene from Richard Strauss’ “Salome” sung by Metro Chamber Orchestra favorite, soprano Therese Panicali in the world premiere arrangement by Kyle Lane as commissioned by the orchestra.
