New York City
In her first major engagement in New York, Miss Judy Butterfield, the 17-year-old prodigy from San Francisco who made her New York debut last year at The Algonquin Hotel’s Oak Room, rockets into town with her electrifying rendition of the music of a youthful Judy Garland. Judy Sings Judy: Songs of a Young Garland premiered at The Empire Plush Room in San Francisco and has recently played sold-out dates in Los Angeles, Denver and Portland. The show traces Garland’s meteoric rise from Minnesota schoolgirl to Hollywood teen icon, including her early stardom at MGM and the release of Meet Me in St. Louis.
