About This Show

Producer Katie Riegel will present two free readings of Isaac Oliver’s new play, Eddie Goshen is Dead. Featured in the cast, under the direction of David Ruttura, are Broadway regulars Manoel Felciano, Kerry O’Malley, Colin Hanlon and Jim Poulos.

In Oliver’s sharp and darkly comedic new play, the back-to-back tenants of an East Village apartment find their lives intertwined around the life and death of a failed writer: Eddie Goshen. Breaking conventions of time and space, the play focuses on the troubled trio tied together not only by the urban space they share, but by Eddie himself as he re-appears to his wife Anna, and then to reclusive Atticus, whose partner Walter can’t understand why Atticus can organize a séance but fails at unpacking their moving boxes. At times magical and then grippingly realistic, Oliver’s haunting story is a modern take on a timeless tale: lost love.

Space is limited, but reservation requests can be emailed to rsvp@eddiegoshen.com and should include show time and number of seats (limit of two per person).
