Celebrity Charades IV

As part of the Fourth Annual LAByrinth Theater Company Benefit, Artistic Directors Philip Seymour Hoffman and John Ortiz present Celebrity Charades IV.

Come down to the tip of Manhattan, in the heart of old New York, back to a time when scores were settled with good old-fashioned fisticuffs. This is a scrappy New York, a raw New York – this is Old New York, LAByrinth-style. One by one, celebrity players come through the audience and into the ring, strutting their stuff and making it known: The battle is on!

Four teams battle for the Championship Belt, including the team of former world champions: Philip Seymour Hoffman, Billy Crudup, Sam Rockwell, Justin Theroux and Yul Vázquez. Last year they lost their title, and now they’re extra hungry… and the rumor is that they’ll be dressed for some serious old-school NYC ass-kicking. Who has the belt at the end of the night – as the teams stumble out into the crisp Wall Street air – is anybody’s guess. But equally important is the question: Who will get to witness it all?
