Labyrinth Theater Company (Co-Artistic Directors Stephen Adly Guirgis, Mimi O’Donnell, Yul Vázquez, and Managing Director Danny Feldman), Off-Broadway’s home of exhilarating and incendiary theater, presents its annual signature benefit Celebrity Charades 2011: Down and Derby. Four celebrity teams jockey their way to the Winner’s Circle in a fearsome and hilarious speed charades competition to support Labyrinth Theater Company’s 2011/12 season.
Celebrity Charades 2011: Down and Derby players will include: (all subject to continuing availability) Bob Balaban, Bobby Cannavale, Philip Seymour Hoffman, John Ortiz, Chris Rock, Cynthia Rowley and Kristen Wiig, with many more still to be announced.
At the event, the 2011 Dave Hoghe Award will be presented to Labyrinth’s former Co-Artistic Directors Philip Seymour Hoffman and John Ortiz in honor of their outstanding leadership and continued dedication to Labyrinth Theater Company. The award is presented annually to a supporter of the Company in honor of their inspiring commitment to and leadership support of Labyrinth. Prior recipients of the Award include The Public Theater, Time Warner, Daryl Roth, George C. Wolfe, Carole Shorenstein Hays and Madonna.
