New York City
The legendary Barbara Cook returns to Broadway in her new one-woman show, Mostly Sondheim. The performance played to critical acclaim and sold-out houses this past summer on London’s West End. The evening features Miss Cook along with Wally Harper on piano and John Burr on bass, performing an evening of songs by composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim, as well as songs which the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner wishes he had written. This wish list includes standards by such composers and lyricists as Harold Arlen & E.Y. Harburg, Cy Coleman & Dorothy Fields, Jerry Bock & Sheldon Harnick and Irving Berlin.
