Direct from sold-out runs at the National Theatre of Scotland and the Lincoln Center Festival, Tony and Olivier Award winner Alan Cumming (Cabaret) returns to the Broadway stage in his one-man adaptation of the Shakespearean tragedy Macbeth. The play is set in a room within a hospital’s psychiatric ward where Cumming is the only patient. In this room, he acts out the story of Macbeth alone, inhabiting each of its characters, while cameras follow his every move in reliving this classic tale of grief, jealousy, and revenge.
