About This Show

The Blue Heron Arts Center contains two fully-equipped theaters, studios for rehearsals and workshops, an exhibit gallery, and office space for resident theater companies. It houses educational outreach and after-school programs and provides space for schools and community groups for performances and other activities. The gallery features changing art and educational exhibits.
The Center is the permanent home for Blue Heron Theatre, a not-for-profit group recognized for its issue-oriented award-winning productions and education programs. Blue Heron is a thinking person’s theater, whose productions and ancillary programs challenge the mind, stir the emotions, and focus on provocative issues and ideas–the universal qualities of the human experience relevant to today’s world: freedom and opression, politics, racism, and the individual and society.
