About This Show

The New York Philharmonic’s concert, Anywhere I Wander: The Frank Loesser Songbook, is presented as part of its 2012 Spring Gala.

Tony Award winner Ted Sperling directs and conducts the program, which is choreographed by Andrew Palermo.

The starry cast includes John Bolton, Ann Hampton Callaway, Victoria Clark, Jason Danieley, Bernard Dotson, Marc Kudisch, Jo Sullivan Loesser,Robert Morse, Michael Seelbach, Bryn Terfel, and Mary Testa.

The evening is a celebration of the award-winning composer, whose Broadway shows include Where’s Charley?, Guys and Dolls, The Most Happy Fella, Greenwillow, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He also wrote numerous songs for films, including the Oscar-winning “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
